A Generous(?) Performance



A participatory performance in which the voluntary participants each spent 2 euros to take part in guessing which was the performer's right middle finger, with a correct guessing prize of 20 euros out of the 100 euros prize pool.

The project commenced, a while ago, with extended conversations about what generosity is and how it can be practiced, and spontaneous readings of Chan texts including Wu Men Guan - 14. Nanquan kills the cat, and resulted eventually in a total of 46 euros loss.
