Nothing but tables since 2022





A book turned a table, a table turned a book, a chair turned a table, a watermelon turned a chair… aren't these works just hideous? it's on one hand the problem of why a table on the other why a work.

On the spectrum of tables from a tv package box used as table to a genuine, authentic table, a real-deal, they’re all about the problem of what is a table; and on the spectrum of the work they’re about why it has to drag tables into it. And here these tables of mine are entirely irrelevant (hopefully) to those problems and those works that have to drag tables into them. They are indeed tables, by that I mean, I do (did) use them as tables at some point, and they should (better) be nothing but tables.

I do like these tables.
